The largest cement producer in the nation, UltraTech Cement Ltd., announced that its wholly owned subsidiary UltraTech Nathdwara Cement Ltd. (UNCL) has opened a 0.8 MTPA brownfield cement production at Neem Ka Thana, Rajasthan.
According to a regulatory filing, the business and its subsidiary now have a 17.05 MTPA grey cement capacity in Rajasthan, bringing its overall grey cement manufacturing capacity in India, including UNCL, to 129.95 MTPA.
In FY23, it produced 100.1 MT of grey cement for the domestic market, an increase of 13.75 percent, and 1.5 MT of white cement, an increase of 11 percent. In FY23, UltraTech produced 4.4 MT of grey cement abroad.
UltraTech has a consolidated capacity of 132.35 MTPA of grey cement. It has 23 integrated manufacturing units, 29 grinding units, one clinkerisation unit, and eight Bulk Packaging Terminals. It is the third largest cement producer in the world, excluding China.
