Thermax Limited has completed an order for mechanical balance of plant (MBoP) work for the captive power plant (CPP) at their new oil-to-chemical (O2C) facility in the western portion of India for Rs. 271.50 crore from India’s largest oil refinery in the private sector.
In order to support the growth of O2C and the construction of a mega plant, the proposed CPP is anticipated to fulfil the increased demand for electricity from on-going projects at the customer’s premises.
The customer has given Thermax, which has completed more than 150 EPC projects in the industry, the go-ahead to complete the MBoP work, which entails engineering, procurement/supply, construction, and civil works. The project is anticipated to be finished in 16 months.
