As part of its strategy to expand access to diabetes care and satisfy the expanding demands of the Indian market, Roche Diabetes Care India (Roche) announced that its best-selling blood glucose monitoring gadget, the “Accu-Chek Active,” is now produced in India.
Roche would use India as a centre to supply Accu-Chek Active metres to Roche US and Germany in addition to serving the Indian market, in order to meet demand globally. According to Roche, the country’s markets already carry the initial batch of glucometers built in India.
According to Roche, Sanmina, its OEM partner, will produce Accu-Chek Active metres in its cutting-edge, multi-client manufacturing facility in Chennai in accordance with internationally recognised quality standards.
