Newly integrated terminal at Chennai airport open for public use

The public can now use the airport’s newly integrated terminal at Chennai Airport.

The integrated terminal, which Prime Minister NarendraModi opened on April 8th, can accommodate almost 2.7 crore passengers annually. The entire terminal was constructed in accordance with international standards, and every location has coloured lighting.

Passengers can simply travel by using the 80 check counters, 8 self check counters, 6 luggage counters and 108 citizen check stations that have been set up.

On 1.97 lakh square metres, the integrated airport terminal was constructed for Rs 2,467 crore.
