Leading cement company gets environmental clearance for capacity expansion

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Impact Assessment Division), Government of India has granted Shree Digvijay Cement Company Limited Environmental Clearance (EC) for the capacity expansion of current facilities.

The capacity of the cement plant is being raised from 1.20 MTPA to 3 MTPA. The capacity of the clinker plant will rise from 1.10 MTPA to 2.21 MTPA.

Power generation from waste heat will have an 8.50 MW capacity.

Shree Digvijay Cement Company commenced operations in India in 1944 at the coastal township of Digvijaygram (Sikka) in Jamnagar District of Gujarat.

Since 2019, the company has been part of True North formerly known as India Value Fund Advisers (IVFA).
