Works for Halwara International Airport to be completed by July

Harbhajan Singh, a cabinet minister for Punjab, stated that it is possible that the building work for the new international airport in Halwara, which is about 40 kilometres away, will be finished by July.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has already assigned the tenders for the project, according to the minister, who was in the city to inspect the work.

Speaking to a crowd on the occasion, the cabinet minister announced that civil works totalingRs. 46.91 crore have already begun.

Internal roads, a taxiway, an apron, estate public health services, campus lighting, an interim airport, a terminal building, a sub-station, a lavatory block and parking are only a few of the projects that are included in the list.
