Rajasthan govt gives nod to set up 3 new medical colleges

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot authorised a plan to establish three new medical institutions in the state.

It stated that three new medical colleges would be built in Rajsamand, Jalore, and Pratapgarh.

According to an official release, each medical college will cost Rs 250 crore to build.

According to Gehlot, the state administration is aiming to improve public access to better medical facilities while also bolstering basic healthcare services.

The announcement further mentioned that Rs 75 crore will be used to purchase the furniture, equipment, and books that these colleges would require.
