Network Planning Group recommends six key infra projects under PM GatiShakti

At its 45th session, the Network Planning Group (NPG) evaluated and suggested six infrastructure projects under PM GatiShakti.

Senior officials from important member ministries and departments participated in the meeting, which was presided over by the special secretary of the logistics division of the Department for the Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

Six projects were assessed and suggested during the meeting: one by the ministry of new and renewable energy (MNRE), three by the ministry of railroads, and two by the ministry of road transport and highways (MoRTH). These initiatives will be created in accordance with the PM GatiShakti Principles using a comprehensive and integrated methodology.

These projects will also provide multimodal connectivity, seamless movement of goods and passengers as well as increase logistics efficiency across the country, the ministry of commerce and industry said in a press release.
