Mahindra Logistics and Ascendas Firstspace have announced plans to set up a 1 million sq ft warehouse park in Talegaon, Pune. The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) to acquire 28 acres of land for the project. The warehouse park is expected to cater to the growing demand for e-commerce and third-party logistics services in the region. The companies aim to complete the project within two years and it is expected to create employment opportunities for the local community. This move is in line with Mahindra Logistics’ focus on expanding its warehousing and logistics infrastructure across India to better serve its customers.
