Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways said that a four-lane, access-controlled greenfield highway between Khammam and Vijayawada will be built on NH-163G for a price of Rs. 983.90 crore.
According to him, the project would be carried out as the first package of the 405 km Nagpur-Vijayawada Economic Corridor between the villages of V Venkatayapalem and Brahmanapalli.
According to him, 29.92 km of four-lane construction of Rs. 983.90 crore has been authorised and would be carried out under hybrid annuity method.
“In Telangana, we are developing a 4-Lane Access-Controlled Greenfield Highway section on NH-163G (Khammam-Vijayawada) from V Venkatayapalem village to Brahmanapalli(K) village under the Economic Corridor (NH-O) program…” Gadkari tweeted.
