Sterlite Power announced that it has won a Rajasthani project for the transmission of green energy.
According to a corporate statement, the project was awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process. PFC Consulting Ltd. provided Sterlite Power with a Letter of Intent (LoI) to construct the project on a BOOT (build, own, operate, transfer) basis over a 35-year period.
The transmission project for the evacuation of electricity from renewable energy zones in the Rajasthani regions of Fatehgarh (9.1 GW), Bhadla (8 GW), and Ramgarh (2.9 GW) has been awarded to Sterlite Power.
