Noida International Airport work to be completed on time

The first phase of the Noida International Airport is on schedule to be finished on time, according to officials, who said on Tuesday that there are more than 2,600 people and more than 400 pieces of machinery on the job site.

A subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), is building the Greenfield airport near Jewar in Gautam Buddh Nagar, about 75 km from Delhi.

Earthwork was finished earlier this year, according to YIAPL CEO Christoph Schnellmann, and vertical construction has begun, including on the terminal building and runway.

According to Schnellmann, “the airport development is making tremendous progress and is on schedule for a timely completion.
