MIDC Chakan welcomed the opening of Bharat Forge Ltd‘s first e-bike manufacturing factory through its E-Mobility subsidiary, Kalyani Powertrain Limited. The factory, whose annual production capacity is upgradable to 100,000 units, will assemble E-bikes for Tork Motors Private Limited, which is owned 64.29% by Kalyani Powertrain Ltd. “The facility has a production capacity of 60,000 units per annum and scalable to 100,000 units per annum, will undertake the assembly of e-bikes for Tork Motors Private Limited, 64.29 percent owned by Kalyani Powertrain Limited,” Bharat Forge said in an exchange filing.
