Diwa Innovations plans to embark on a new project involving the production of synthetic organic chemicals at Shubh Laxmi Estate in Chhatral, Dhanot, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The chemicals to be manufactured include Di Ethyl Meta Amino Phenol (720 TPA), Tri Chloro Acetaldehyde (2400 TPA), Ethyl Chloride (3432 TPA), Rhodamine B (240 TPA), and Rhodamine B Liquid (384 TPA). The project is estimated to cost Rs. 40 million and construction activity is scheduled to start in August 2023 and end in November 2023. As of February 2023, Diwa Innovations has submitted the proposal with its Terms of Reference (ToR) to the Ministry of Environment and Forests. Upon receiving the first stage of clearance, the company will present the detailed project report for final environmental clearance. Work on the project will only commence after obtaining this clearance, subject to the consent of the state pollution control board based on the rules framework.
