SFC Energy, FC TecNrgy to make fuel cells from methanol and hydrogen in India

A deal has been signed by the German companies SFC Energy and FC TecNrgy to start making fuel cells out of methanol and hydrogen in India. According to a statement, the partnership intends to establish a production facility, an R&D centre, and a maintenance facility in Gurugram, Haryana. Also, they have announced the introduction of the EFOY Hydrogen Fuel Cell in India, which is anticipated to be crucial in achieving the nation’s National Hydrogen Goals, which include goals to produce up to 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030. The EFOY Hydrogen is a modular and emission free hydrogen fuel cell solution that meets the highest demands of professional users as in ideal replacement for diesel generators that can be used by a range of industrial applications.
