Kanoria Chemicals to set up new plant in Gujarat

Kanoria Chemicals has said that a new formaldehyde factory with a 300 TPD (tonnes per day) capacity would be built in Gujarat. The factory would be built using the most recent metal oxide-based technology at the GIDC, Ankleshwar location in Gujarat, it said. The expansion of capacity is anticipated to meet both the region’s expanding demand and the export markets for industries including engineered wood, textiles, agrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Ranjeet Singh, CEO, chemicals business, said that the investment was in line with the company’s ‘Vision-2030’.
