Balu Forge to establish new manufacturing facility in Belgaum

A new 52,000 Sg.mt manufacturing plant is being built by Balu Forge Industries (BFIL) in Belgaum, Karnataka. A cutting-edge precision engineering centre will be housed in this new building, increasing manufacturing efficiency and enabling an expansion of the company’s current product line to improve its offerings in the ICE and new energy sectors.

The new manufacturing campus will house a number of important production facilities, including a precision machining and forging centre, a defence production facility, a unit specifically dedicated to the production of railway wheels and axles, and a facility with a focus on the components for the new energy and mobility industries. These facilities will allow BFIL to diversify its product line and serve new markets.

The defence production unit will focus on the production of undercarriage parts & heavy forging components for the global defence industry.
