Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd consortium emerges L1 for two projects

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been selected as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for the following projects.

  1. Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Power Supply Receiving & Distribution System, 750 V DC Third Rail Traction Electrification and Scada System for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-I. (Cost Rs. 673.8 Crore)
  2. Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Power Supply Receiving & Distribution System, 750 V DC Third Rail Traction Electrification and Scada System for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II. (Cost Rs. 384.3 Crore.)

RVNL had formed a consortium with M/s SIEMENS India Limited in the aforementioned tenders. M/s Siemens holds a 65% stake, while RVNL holds the remaining 35%.

Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited has yet to issue a Letter of Award.
