BR Chopra multimetals is planning to take up new steel manufacturing plant in MullanpurKalan, Tehsil-Amloh, Fategarh Sahib, Punjab.
Sources said that the project involves manufacturing of 1,22,500 TPA of Steel Ingots/Billets 1,10,250 TPA of Round, Coil, Flats, Wire Rod, TMT Bars and 1,05,000 TPA of ERW pipe.
“The project is to install and induction furnace of capacity 25 TPH along with concast, rolling mill of capacity 20 TPH and a pipe plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 778.508 million. As of January 2023, environment clearance for the project is underway,” sources added.
