State-run Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) issued a tender for 30 billion rupees ($362.24 million) and the lowest bidders were Ashok Leyland’s Switch Mobility, JBM Auto, and PMI Electro Mobility.

For the supply of 2,600 electric buses in three states, Switch Mobility has emerged as the lowest bidder. JBM Auto has offered the lowest price for 1,781 e-buses in three states, while PMI Electro has offered the lowest price for the delivery of 2,080 electric buses in two states.
