Radha Casting and Metaliks is planning to take up MS billet expansion project in Marar, Ramgarh, Jharkhand.
A press release said that the project involves enhancement in production of pigiron from 15,000 TPA to 30,000 TPA, MS billet and TMT Bars from 15,000 TPA to 30,000 TPA by installation of
eight nos of induction furnance i.e. six nos of induction furnance of capacity 20 TPA and two nos of induction furnance of capacity 7 TPA, and installation of rolling mill of 1,80,000 TPA by installation of rolling mill and installation of 60,000 TPA.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3780 million. As of January 2023, environment clearance for the project is underway, the release added.
