Vishwaraj Sugar Industries gets environmental clearance for distillery expansion

Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd had submitted an application for Environmental Clearance (EC) to the Ministry of Forests, Environment & Climate Change Government of India for increasing the distillery capacity at its current plant located at Village Bellad Bagewadi from 100 KLPD to 250 KLPD based on Sugarcane Syrup/C/B Heavy Molasses as raw material and 120 KLPD grain-based distillery to produce Ethanol.

The relevant authority has thought about the proposal, followed the procedure in accordance with the EIA Notification, 2006’s regulations, and given recommendations regarding the proposal.

The authority determined that the project was valid and made a recommendation for the granting of environmental clearance.

The copy of the same is available on the website of the Ministry of Forests Environment & Climate Change and the Company has received communication in this respect.
