Medica Group of Hospitals, a private healthcare organisation with headquarters in Kolkata, has announced an investment of Rs 200 crore in two of its facilities in and around Siliguri to upgrade the facilities’ infrastructure and improve patient care.
The Medica Group of Hospitals runs a nursing home in Pradhannagar in the city and a cancer hospital in Rangapani on its outskirts.
“We will invest Rs 100 crore to expand facilities at the cancer hospital in Rangapani and another Rs 100 crore to expand the clinic in Pradhannagar. During the next three to five years, we plan to expand our Siliguri facility in terms of the number of beds and area,” said group chairman Alok Roy.
