According to the Odisha government, the current edition of the business summit has generated 145 investment offers valued more than Rs 7.26 lakh crore.
On the second day of the “Make In Odisha” Conclave 2022 on Thursday, the Naveen Patnaik administration inked 21 Memoranda of Understanding with various businesses.
According to an official, the JSW Group alone invested Rs 1 lakh crore in the state.
Hemant Sharma, the secretary of industry for Odisha, claimed that if the investment intentions worth Rs. 7,26,128.45 crore were to materialise, they would lead to the creation of almost 3.20 lakh new jobs.
The third edition of the business summit was attended by representatives of different corporate houses such as LN Mittal, Anil Agarwal, Sajjan Jindal, TV Narendran, Naveen Jindal, Karan Adani, Praveer Sinha and delegates from 11 countries.
