Wadiware in Nashik, Maharashtra, now houses a new production facility for Virtuoso OptoElectronics (VOEPL). Additionally, this is consistent with the company’s committed investment in the PLI plan for LED lighting and white goods, for which VOEPL got approval last year.
The third manufacturing unit of VOEPL will have internal capabilities for manufacturing sheet metal components with presses ranging from 63T to 310T, in addition to the existing production facilities that make air conditioners (ACs) and EMS/LED lights.
The facility will also be equipped with the most recent powder coating technology.
According to client expectations and based on forecasts received, the facility will allow the business to significantly expand its capacity to produce ODUs.
