The Madhya Pradesh government organised a civic celebration at Raj Bhavan Bhopal in honour of President Droupadi Murmu.
In the ceremony, the President virtually broke ground on the Maximum Microbial Containment Laboratory (BSL-4) at the Defense Research and Development Institute, Gwalior of the Ministry of Defense as well as the Ratapani-Obedullaganj-Itarsi four-lane Project (NH-46) under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Bharatmala project.
Speaking to the crowd, the President noted that Madhya Pradesh’s spiritual significance is highlighted by the Jyotirlingas of Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar, the SimhasthaKumbh of Ujjain, the origin of the Narmada, the temple of the first Jain TirthankarRishabhdev in Amarkantak, and the exile site of Lord Rama in Chitrakoot.
