In Ramagundam, Telangana, Prime Minister NarendraModi laid the cornerstone for numerous projects totaling more than 9500 crore, according to a release from the Prime Minister’s Office.
On August 7 of that year, the Prime Minister lay the cornerstone for the Ramagundam Project.
The Prime Minister’s goal of achieving urea self-sufficiency, according to a statement from the PMO, is what inspired the revival of the fertiliser plant. The Ramagundam Plant will provide 12.7 LMT of native neem-coated urea annually.
The project has been set up under the aegis of Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) which is a Joint Venture Company of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Engineers India Ltd (EIL) and Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL).
