The P9 facility at Manjusar, close to Vadodara, Gujarat, has successfully started up commercial production for Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Ltd. At the P9 facility, the corporation has increased the capacity of bromo benzene by 2,400 MTPA. The business is also considering adding the pharmaceutical ingredient guanine to the same plant.
With a 10 crore rupee investment, the business launched a nearly 2.1 MW solar power facility in Dabhoi, Vadodara. Captive use of this solar power facility will lessen reliance on non-renewable sources of electricity.
