- G M Sugar And Energy is planning to take up new sugar plant in Chatnahalli, Hirekerur, Haveri, Karnataka. The project involves establishment new sugar plant with capacity 3500 TCD, 30 MW Co generation and 60 KLPD distillery. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3330 million. As of January 2020, the company has been allotted by the state Land Allotment Committee for setting up the project.
- Shri Dutt India is planning to take up new sugar factory in Sakharwadi, Phaltan, Satara, Maharashtra. The project involves establishment of 7500TCD sugar factory, 50 MW Co-gen unit and 150KLPD molasses based distillery unit. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3400 million.On January 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of May 2020, project involves establishment of 105 KLPD molasses/cane juice based distillery unit with investment of Rs.800 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shri Someshwar Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana is planning to take up sugar unit expansion project in Someshwarnagar, Tal Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. The project involves expansion of existing sugar unit from 5,500 to 8,000 TCD, co-generation from 18
to 34 MW and molasses based distillery unit of 30 kilo litres per day (KLPD) capacity by adding a new unit of 60 KLPD and thereby achieving total production capacity of 90 KLPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2012.555 million. As of November 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. - Rao Sugar And Agri Products is planning to take up new sugar manufacturing project in Kanjai, Narshinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of white crystal sugar with capacity 2500 TCD and electric power generation using other non conventional sources(10 MW). The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on November 2019. As of February 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Babanraoji Shinde Sugar and allied Industries is planning to take up sugar factory expansion project in Turkpimpari, Po:Malwandi, Tal- Barshi, Solapur, Maharashtra. The project involves expansion of sugar factory 5000 to 6000 TCD & cogeneration plant 25 to 30 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.550 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Magadh Sugar and Energy is planning to take up sugar expansion project in Hasanpur, Samastipur, Bihar. The project involves expanding the sugar unit from 5000 TCD to 6500 TCD along with 12.5 MW of power co-generation plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.295 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Aayan Multitrade is planning to take up new sugar manufacturing project in Nandurbar-Shahada Road, Samsherpur, Nandurbar, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of sugar with capacity 1500 TCD. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on November 2019. On April 2020, the project is in planning stage. On May 2020, The project involves establishment of 100 KLPD Molasses based Distillery with 3 MW Captive Power Plant with investment of Rs.1060 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway. As of August 2020, project involves expansion of sugar factory from 4,900 TCD to 10,000 TCD and co-generation plant from 14 MW to 32 MW with investment of Rs.1362.5 million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shree Kranti Sugar and Power is planning to take up a sugar expansion project in Devibhoire, Parner, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the capacity of sugar 15120 MT/M, Co-generation power 12.5 MW, Bagasse 35280 MT/M, Molasses 12600 MT/M and pressmud 5040 MT/M. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1300 million. As of April 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Karnal Co-Operative Sugar Mills is planning to take up sugar plant expansion project in Sheikhpura Jagir, Karnal, Haryana. The project involves expanding the existing sugar plant from 2200 TCD to 3500 TCD (expandable to 5000 TCD) along with co-generation Plant of 18 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2630.8 million. On April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of August 2020, project involves establishment of 18 MW Cogeneration power plant with investment of Rs.635 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
