- HRG Alloys & Steels is planning to take up MS billet expansion project in Hirekasankandi, Koppal, Karnataka. The project involves expanding the production capacity of MS Billets from 78000 TPA to 155000 TPA, Rolling Mill(TMT Bars) from 78000 TPA to 165000 TPA by installing Induction furnace and the other products Iron Ore beneficiation 1.50 TPA, Sponge Iron (0.21 MTPA) and Pellet plant (1.20 MPTA). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.5600 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Mayura Saria is planning to take up rolling mill expansion project in Bhittikala, Ambikapur, Surguja, Chhattisgarh. The project involves expanding the rolling mill from 25,500 TPA to 57000 TPA for production of 8mm to 25mm MS rods, tor Strips,TMT Bars, TMT squares, Plates, Angles. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.36 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Rashmi Metallurgical Industry is planning to take up New TMT bar and wire rod manufacturing project in Gokulpur, Kharagpur, Midnapur, West Bengal. The project involves manufacturing of TMT bar and wire rod with capacity 840000 TPA. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on December 2019. As of April 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Reliable Sponge is planning to take up a TMT bar expansion project in Industrial Estate, Kalunga, Sundargarh, Odisha. The project involves expanding the production capacity of MS rod and TMT bar from 72000 TPA to 144000 TPA, MS Channel, MS Angles, MS flats from 72000 TPA to 144000 TPA. As of May 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Salsan Steels is planning to take up TMT bar expansion project in Upmohal Ram Nagar, Gagret, Una, Himachal Pradesh. The project involves expanding the manufacturing of TMT Bar from 60000 T to 87720 T, Angle 8000 T, Patti 7000 T, Square 4200 T. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.606.579 million. As of June 2020, State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal.
- Rajrani Steel Casting is planning to take up new re-rolling mill tmt bars manufacturing project in Sinnar, Nasik, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of re-rolling mill tmt bars with capacity 2000 MT/M. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on February 2020. As of July 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Vsl-Sail JVC is planning to take up new TMT bar manufacturing unit in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up new TMT bar manufacturing unit with capacity 100000 TPA with 35 Acres. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.600 million and offers a Debt Funding. As of August 2020, The project is being developed through the Turnkey route.
- JB Rolling Mills is planning to take up in MS billet expansion project in Johron, Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity MS billet from 28800 MTPA to 234000 MTPA and MS Bar Angle, Channel, Grider, TMT Bar round & square 97500 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.943.628 million. On August 2020, State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority has approved the proposal. As of September 2020, the project work has commenced.
- Belgauarm Sugs is planning to take up new TMT steel bars manufacturing project in Belgaum, Karnataka. The project involves manufacturing of TMT steel bars with capacity 99000 MT. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on August 2020. As of December 2020, the project is in planning stage.
