Near the Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory in the Kabirdham area, Chhattisgarh will build its first ethanol plant.
The district government has designated 35 acres of undeveloped land close to the factory as the plant’s location. The plant’s capacity will be 80 klpd. A public-private partnership will be used to build the ethanol facility (PPP).
Before assigning the task following a national tender, the state government took into account all micro concerns. A contract has been inked between NKJ Biofuel, a division of Chhattisgarh Distillery, and Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory.
Direct and indirect job possibilities will result from the construction of an ethanol plant. The ethanol plant will be created be with hybrid technology.As per the agreement, the construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of the 2022.
