The Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) has submitted the proposed Jaipur Metro phase-1D between Mansarovar and Ajmer Road (200-feet Chauraha) to the state government for budgetary permission.
After conducting an environmental impact assessment (EIA) and a social effect assessment, the decision was made (SIA).
The request for the project’s extension on both ends, Mansarovar and Baddi Chaupar, has been sent to the state government for financial approval, according to a spokesperson.
After the project was included in the budget for 2022–2023, the JMRC began the process of extending the line. The JMRC has proposed to build a 2 km elevated length between Mansarovar with the 200 ft bypass at Ajmer Road as part of the project.
