Alaknanda Balmukund Ispat’s New Rolling Mill Expansion Unit
Alaknanda Balmukund Ispat is planning to take up new rolling mill unit in village – Gourandi, Mouza – Mosliya, P.O. Achuri Salboni, P.S. Bankura Sadar, Bankura, West Bengal. As of August 2022, project involves proposed expansion of existing steel plant by installation of iron ore pellet plant (1×0.85 MTPA) with producer gas plant (8×7000 Nm3/hr), sponge iron plant (1×250 TPD + 2×350 TPD DRI Kilns), submerged arc furnaces (2×12 MVA) induction furnaces (2×12 T + 2×20 T) with matching LRF & CCM, 1,50,000 TPA rolling mill along with 31 MW capacity captive power plant (21 MW WHRB based + 10 MW AFBC based). Among the existing facilities, the rolling mill (1,32,000 TPA) was installed based on consent to Esta with inversment Rs.4910 million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
Amaravati Roofings’ New Colour Coated Metal Roofing Sheets Mfg. Unit
Amaravati Roofings is planning to take up new colour coated metal roofing sheets manufacturing unit in Ankireddypalem, Lalpuram Pnachayat, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up new colour coated metal roofing sheets manufacturing unit with capacity (14 Tons / Day) (4800 Tons / Annum). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.30 million. As of August 2022, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
