INOXCVA flags off India’s largest liquid Hydrogen tank

The largest bulk liquid hydrogen storage tank ever manufactured in India was flagged off by INOXCVA, a multinational manufacturer of cryogenic equipment and solutions from India. The Tank set out from the INOXCVA plant in Kandla towards its final destination, a sustainable energy demonstration project in South Korea, with a vast storage capacity of 238 m3. This bulk cryogenic storage tank was constructed in accordance with European Standards and Korean Gas Safety (KGS) regulations.

For the Changwon Hydrogen Liquefaction Project with Gyeongnam Province, Changwon City, Doosan Corporation announced in 2020 that the nation’s first hydrogen liquefaction plant with a 5 Tons Per Day capacity would be built on its property at the Changwon Port.

The plant is slated to commence commercial operations in 2023, offering supplies to hydrogen charging stations nationwide for buses, trucks and trams that need to be recharged with hydrogen as ultimate clean fuel.
