Hitachi teams up with Doddaballapur to establish a new facility

Hitachi Energy has partnered with manufacturing power quality products to establish a new facility at Doddaballapur on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

This new facility, which has a production capacity of 20,000 units of cutting-edge capacitors, banks, and power electronics compensators for low, medium, and high voltage systems, was built by the Indian subsidiary of Hitachi Energy, a company based in Switzerland. The power utilities, industries, renewable energy, and transportation sectors, according to the company.

Claudio Fachin, CEO of Hitachi Energy, said, “We have a rich heritage and extensive footprint in this country, and this new manufacturing facility for power quality solutions reinforces our commitment to turn India’s energy transition into a net-zero one. “

“The expansion also strengthens our long-term presence in Karnataka as we look forward to collaborating with all stakeholders in the ecosystem,” he said at a media round table held at the facility.
