Ambuja Cements’ New Nandgaon- Ekodi Limestone Mine
Ambuja Cements is planning to take up new Nandgaon- Ekodi limestone mine in Villages Nandgaon, Ekodi, Bhoygaon and Kawthala, Taluka- Korpana, Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The project involves production of 2.0 Million TPA Limestone and associated waste, soil etc. About 0.8 MTPA of wastes and rejects are likely to be handled. Hence, a total material handling @ 2.9 MTPA . The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1800 million. On March 2018, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of August 2022, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
Chandan Steel’s New Environment Clearance for Existing Steel Rolling Mill
Chandan Steel Ltd is planning to take up new environment clearance for existing steel rolling mill in Village – Dehri, Tal: Umbergaon, Dist – Valsad – 396171, Gujarat. The project involves SS Round Bars, Angles & Channels – 3000 MT/Month and Cleaned Rolled for SS Round Bars, Angles & Channels – 3000 MT/Month. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.166.2 million. As of July 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.
