By January 2025, a 400-bed ESI Super-Specialty Hospital in Visakhapatnam is expected to be completed.
Rameshwar Teli, the Union Minister of State for Labor, responded to a query posed by Rajya Sabha MP G.V.L. Narasimha Rao by stating that the hospital’s completion goal is January 31, 2025, and that a budget of 384.26 crore has been approved for it.
The facility would help four lakh ESI claimants, claims Narasimha Rao.
According to Teli, the hospital would offer main and secondary care, emergency treatment, and specialised care for both inpatients and outpatients. The hospital will also have an operating room, a labour room, diagnostic services, AYUSH facilities, and super-specialty services.
