26 land allottees will be able to set up their manufacturing facilities at the Medical Devices Park as a result of the Yamuna Motorway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) having finished the process of transferring land deeds and other papers.
At the 350-acre park in Sector 28, 59 plots have already been allocated by the YEIDA. The authority will also plan for connectivity to the park via roads, metro rail, highways, pod taxis, and bullet trains. The National Medical Devices Policy, 2023 was approved by the Union Cabinet on April 26, 2023, making the development important.
The authority will also establish a fire hydrant facility, residences for those working at the park and residential plots for the allottees, along with setting up two flatted factories (a group of small industrial units located in multi-storeyed buildings sharing common services and facilities and having undivided share in the land) at Sector 28, to ensure cost-effective operations.
