12 companies file proposals to build Jewar airport link with Delhi – Mumbai Expressway

After the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) launched technical bids , 12 construction firms have filed proposals to build the 30 km Jewar Airport Link to connect with the 1350 km Delhi – Mumbai Expressway (DME) project.

Through three packages, this six-lane, access-controlled spur would link the Noida International Airport in Jewar, which is still under development, with the 59-kilometer DND-Sohna Spur, which is being built by DRA Infracon.

The project’s route is about equal in length throughout Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, and it includes a bridge over the Yamuna River.

In January 2022, the NHAI issued a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) contract invitation for its development, with a Rs. 1533.34 crore estimated cost and a 730 day (2 year) deadline.
