The largest oil corporation in India, Indian Oil, recently revealed its intention to build a Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Gwalior.
The facility would be situated at Adarsh Gaushala and have a daily production capacity of 100 tonnes of biogas. Recently, the plant’s Bhoomi Pujan ritual took place.
This action is consistent with Indian Oil’s dedication to encouraging renewable energy and lowering carbon emissions.
The development of the CBG facility is a step in the right direction for the corporation, which has been investigating various renewable energy possibilities.
The establishment of the CBG plant will not only help in generating renewable energy but will also provide a source of income to the farmers in the region. Additionally, it will also help in reducing the carbon footprint of Indian Oil’s operations in the region.
Indian Oil’s efforts in promoting renewable energy have been well received by the industry and the public.
